Please note that all details added to this secure directory (including e-mail addresses) remain private and are only visible to the user and the administrators of this site. To access the directory as a first time user please click the "first time user?" link located at the bottom of the Community Login. Once registered with the directory a member has the ability to enter information about themselves including an email address and password which will enable a user to use the Community Login located at the top of this page. A member that doesn't have a password or email listed can still access the directory by using the "new user?" login. We hope you will support this very practical initiative. |

Barker College is committed to managing
personal information in a responsible and confidential manner, in accordance
with best practice and legal obligations. In this context, we want you to be
aware that:
1. Through this site, Barker College may collect personal information about
you from time to time. The primary purpose of collecting this information is
to enable us to inform you about activities and events at Barker. You may
receive information about events such as reunions and social functions,
relevant sporting fixtures and achievements, alumni achievements and
information about future plans for the school including opportunities for
you to provide support for developments at the school.
2. We may wish to publish details about you in School publications and on the
School website. If you do not wish to have your details published in this
way, please advise us.
3. On request we will provide you with details of the information we hold and
the ways in which we store and use that information. You are entitled to
access your personal information held by us. Your request for access should
be in writing, directed to the Privacy Officer, Barker College.
4. We will take all reasonable steps to ensure that the information you
provide is protected from misuse, loss, unauthorized access and disclosure
or modification.
5. We will use our best endeavours to ensure that information we hold is up to
date and accurate and we seek your assistance in providing us with details
of any changes to information.
6. At any time, you may advise us that you no longer wish to receive
information from us and we will note our records accordingly.
7. If you provide personal information to us about other people, we will seek
their consent before we use that information.
8. The School’s Privacy Policy is available by contacting the School and
requesting a copy be sent to you.
